     NEW YORK REVIEWS

"Ronnie Marmo is giving an unabashedly ballsy performance"
Zachary Stewart, TheaterMania

"Funny, touching, tragic...Lenny lives through the brilliant performance of Ronnie Marmo and flawless direction
of Joe Mantegna".

"Lenny Bruce is still talking dirty".

"Marmo embodies [Lenny Bruce] with his body, heart and soul...Marmo thoroughly commands the stage and audience from start to finish ".

"This perfectly inflected performance is expertly directed by actor Mantegna who, through longtime collaboration with David Mamet, knows a thing or two about four letter

eloquence".

"What powers the play is not only the inherent drama, of tragic proportions, in Bruce's life but also Marmo's flawless embodiment of the man. There's never a moment when we doubt the person before us is this smart tormented individual come to life".

"Marmo makes it very easy to suspend our disbelief and imagine that we're actually watching Bruce resurrected".

"Besides showcasing the immense talents of Ronnie Marmo, I’m Not A Comedian...I’m Lenny Bruce serves as a bold testament to the magnitude of its subject’s cultural relevance, historical significance and to how funny he was".

Amazing show...terrific performance. - ABC 7

WHAT CELEBRITIES ARE RAVING ABOUT

Approaching fifty years of stand-up comedy, I will always remember as a kid listening to Lenny Bruce albums on vinyl and feeling as if I was hearing the God of this art-form. Nothing has changed. And never will. The production of  I’m Not A Comedian...I'm Lenny Bruce is superlative in all departments. Even the candy in the lobby was fuckin great. But it's the tour de force by actor Ronnie Marmo that for me is historic. Lenny's life pours out of him, that would have made Mr. Bruce both extraordinarily shocked and also, in a loving fashion, I’m sure he would have mocked the shit out of this wondrous actor for nailing him so magnificently. I've always been let down reading and watching about my hero but not this time. This was Mickey Mantle finally hitting it out of the stadium.
